How about a 4 for 10 day Garry. Judges ruled I slipped on the rug on my 2nd pull of 518 and awarded me the lift again, which I promptly followed myself on the platform and well, rolled my ankle one more time. On a good note, I can still hit 1300 on a bad day, I just need to get out of the habit of doing it the hard way.

Harriet had been sick when I arrived in Denver on Thursday and remained sick the entire weekend. She came out to squat, did a weird little bobble on the way down with her opening squat, came up with the weight and eyes rolled back and down she went (thankfully assisted and after the weight was racked). She stopped the meet for about 5 minutes or more until she was able to be removed from the platform. You know she is going to survive from it when she won’t let Johnny cut off her suit. She was majorly dehydrated from being ill and had to withdraw from the meet.

After being examined from a PA, an EMT, several nurses and the Paramedics, she came back out in the audience to cheer the rest of the gals on while downing Pedialyte.

The meet was excellent. Great crew, great platform and a ton of fun seeing everyone again and meeting the new gals to the scene.

Priscilla
