In Response To: Re: Brad Gillingham Deadlift Video (Brad Gillingham)

Brad;

Congratulations on a FANTASTIC instructional DVD! I learned more from it than any video I watched before or any article I ever read anywhere
before. My Squat without a suit is improving because of all the raw Squat work and I PRed my
hook grip deadlift at the Indiana State Meet in
December. I am a 52 year old lifter and my knees
aren't as sore after Squat workouts as they used to be. I can do the 5X5 Squat workout in between
15 to 20 minutes on any of the scheduled weeks.
even the heavier weeks.

My question to Brad or anyone who knows is what
type of wrist straps he is using on his Front Squats. I have to cross my arms in front to hold
the bar in position because I have arthritis in my
elbows and I can't flex my arms back far enough to
hold the bar with my hands. I know I can do more
weight than I am but crossing my arms limits what
I can handle. I tried choking deadlift straps and
holding the ends but I keep pulling the bar off my
shoulders. Any help would be greatly appreciated
and Thank You in advance.

John
