"You are taking some heat for all of the posts on all of the forums."
Not a problem. I am not only #####y but warmhearted, forgiving and basically fireproof. The heat never bothers me.
" The samll number of referees that have worked Most if not all of the National Meets this year take a lot of flap because many people think they can see better sitting at ground level 100 feet away from the lifter than the referees sitting a few feet from the lifter. "
That will never change. I've reffed and realize that you can't make everyone happy. Can't do it putting on meets or even spotting. Think about it for a second.... as wonderful as I am, if I can't make everyone happy, how can anyone else expect to?"
"There was one comment about me red lighting Gilly for an unlocked elbow. It wasn't Gilly #####ing but the one #####ing seemed to imply that Gilly was perfect and would NEVER have an unlocked elbow. That kind of sh$t gets old in a hurry. Especiallly when many of the meets have been crying for more referees. I agree with Robert when he says the jury system has been working the last few years. Althought,m I have seen some jury decisions that were just plain wrong and I told them so at the time. You know me, it is hard to beleive a person as meek and mild as I am, would yell at the jury."
You? Express disagreement or wear your feelings on your sleeve? No way.
The jury is still useless, though. LOL
