The Masters' World Bench Meet is next month in April. Yes, a master or open lifter can enter the Septmber National Bench Press meet even if you are on the World Masters Bench Team. In fact, if you are trying to get a slot on the 2007 Masters World Bench Team, you will need to lift in the September meet. The Worlds Masters full powerling Championship is being held in October which will make it a little tight for Master Lifter but you all know we recover so much faster than open lifters. :>)

I need help understanding the situation involving the master BP qualifier for 2007 worlds. I entered the BP National contest last weekend in Denver thinking it was the qualifier for the 2007 world master BP contest. It couldn't have been for the April 2006 world master BP contest because that qualifier was held sometime back in 2005. Now Regina, you say the September 2006 national BP contest will be the qualifier for the 2007 master BP contest and master lifters must enter and win to have a chance of being selected for worlds. If this is so, what was the significance of the Denver contest for master lifters?
