My suggestion would be, and I wouldn't doubt that this has been discussed already .... that the USAPL select the Masters Bench team for 2007 from the best of three (3) meets, rather than the traditional two (2).

Normally the team is selected from the Nat'l Bench meet and the Masters Nat'l PL meet. For the 2007 team, we could add the March'06 Bench Nat'ls results to the pool.

This way, masters lifters posting good lifts in March need not compete in Sept. if their schedule, finances, physical well-being, etc. don't allow it. They play the wait-and-see game, same as Masters Nat'l PL competitors do.

As many have said, it's a one-time change, due to circumstances beyond our control. We deal with it and move on ... and win the IPF worlds!
