need bench advice

I enjoy lifting in USAPL meets, but have a hard time conforming to the rules of performance. I have always naturally benched to my belly, even raw and if I am not arching much at the time. I have been using Fury/F6 shirts since they came out. I think they work great, but only if you bench very low with them. If I wear one loose enough to be able to touch my "sternum" with the bar, they loose all pop for me. Is there a way to make a Titan shirt work so that you can bench to your chest effectively? A certain way to wear it? Maybe certain alterations? Maybe a smaller chest panel so that the shirt doesn't have to be pulled down in front to get power from it? What about the Rage shirts from Inzer? Can you get power out of them without benching to the belly? I simply need a shirt that will allow me to get at least close enough to my sternum to get lifts passed consistently. I hope I am getting my point across. Thanks if you have any advice for me.
