In Response To: Why two forums? (Jim Roberts)

:Wondering why there are two forums?

Some people complained about messages they tried to post never showing up on the other forum or showing up after a huge delay.

It was also felt by some people that things weren't handled fairly. I don't really want to stir the pot too much so I'll leave it at that.

: Can be confusing as some may not see information :posted on the other. Perhaps if the two forums :are going to be maintained, that the information be posted on both?

That is a good idea but diffucult to practice. The old board is established and some people may post there by force of habit. This one is new and it has taken a while for people to find out about it but it seems to really be growing. We've only been around for a few months.

While I would certainly like to see all important posts discussed here, I wouldn't feel comfortable copying the posts and reposting them here though I might ask a few people to start the topics here when ever possible.

My main focus is keeping things fair and positive while allowing people to discuss things and have fun.

:Not a critism..., only a suggestion.

No problem at all. It was a question that someone was going to ask at some point. In fact, I was asked it via email the day we opened.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you,
Jim :":
