Jason, That is a well reasoned and clear answer. I'm hoping your new forum will be good place to clear the air and build some more cooperation and mutual respect between federations for the benefit of the lifters. While I always have lifted cross federations and probability always will, I'm currently most at home in NASA. There is a friendly family like atmosphere at their meets that was very much like the old ADFPA I lifted in years ago. The few USAPL Meets I attended in the past few years were less friendly and even somewhat hostile. But that may have just been a regional thing. I plan on attending another USAPL meet in a different part of the state and I'm hoping it feels better there. I am in full support of the USAPL drug free policy and think they represent us very well on the international stage.
But I still have concerns how Liz W was treated and I hope that never happens to one of our lifters again. If you have some wisdom that will pour some healing oils over troubled water in this area, I would truly welcome it.
