Horace Lane

This past weekend I saw one of the most amazing events I have ever witnessed. Horace made his 3rd attempt at Masters Bench Worlds, only to have it turned down by the jury as the coaching staff was readying a fourth attempt at the World record. This was not so amazing. The amazing part was how Horace handled himself. He, along with the coaching staff, questioned the jury at length. He never lost control when confronted by the jury's decision. Never have I seen an athlete handle adversity as well as Horace did this day. Horace should be an example to us all.
