There are no copies of the bylaws on the web site.

I tried to get a copy last year. My first request was acknowledged by the national offce and I was told they would have to check with someone and get back to me. The next three requests, over several months, did not receive a response.

I hear that bylaws do exist, however.

It's not that big a deal to me now (the situation I was researching sort of resolved itself) but to be honest it does pose a degree of risk to the organization. This is especially true if the bylaws are so dated that they are not in line with our current rules and procedures.

Tax exempt status could be in jeopardy, also officer liability in the event of a lawsuit would come into play here as well. Best to get this one resolved quickly in my opinion. It's not that hard to do.
