Pat,
Jake is still alive and kicking. I can't say
that about the MDSA. It's hanging on by a
thread along with Jake's odd lift association.
Jake is very busy with his businesses and
bus driving. He only holds meets in Willmar,
Minnesota and they are held when someone
expresses some interest in having a meet.
There are a few traditional dates like around
holloween and in the spring he will put one on
for sure. You can check out the oddlift.com
website and see what's been going on. I run
into Jake avery once in a while, and I'll tell
him you were asking about him. Most of us guys
that lift with him anymore are older and we
sometimes get a new person to join us.
I hope your training and lifting is going well.
Gary
