In Response To: Brad Gillingham/Greatest SHW Ever??? (Patrick Anderson)

I agree. I warmed up next to Brad and had a conversation with him just before our squat flight. I asked him why his squat suit looked so loose and he told me it was his singlet.

As we were talking I could tell he wasn't all the way there. He said that, though I was standing next to him, he felt like he was across the parking lot and was a bit dazed. He said he'd been fighting a flu/cold and allergies and had been on antibiotics for the last wek. At that point, I couldn't believe he was going to go very heavy at all.

All his warmups looked easy and smoothe, as did his lifts. I watched his record 3rd attempt pull, using a double-overhand grip and was amazed at how easy it seemed. I now hope to see him join us on the World team this October.
