I had one lifter come up and chat with me after they had bombed out on the squat. His first 2 attempts were high 3 reds all around, his third was boderline and from the front I thought it was a good lift (given my view point and items we have talked about in the other thread). 2 reds from the sides.

"Why did I get a red on the 3rd?"

"I do not know... I gave you a white. Ask the side referees but it looks like depth was your problem"

Sometimes when you're a referee the lifter wants to rip you a new one even when you've given him a white.
