I am a meet director for the High School meet in Mass. Additionally, I always assist as much as possible in the two open meets in RI every year.

As a meet director I am always concerned with the those patrons lifting in these meets. If a lifter or team has a problem, concern, and/or suggestion; please let me know. I realize that I can not fix every thing, nor can I make everyone happy, for I have been the target of people's er. But if a lifters leaves a meet unhappy I want to know, don't just stop coming to meets. I am always willing to work to make people happy as long as it does not compromise the rules.

For example if you think someone is getting favored or slighted by a judge. Politely speak to the meet director either during or after the meet. Perhaps there is something more to what is initially thought. At the very least you have made a personal oservation. It then becomes the meet directors responsiblity to find out if their is any merit, perhaps there is (as many of us have seen) or ther is no basis to the claim.
