The shoulder is a work in progress.... each week I see a bit of progress but it is slow.

I have some mobility/flexibility work that I'm supposed to do and if I do it every day I maintain a level of movement but if I skip a day or two it really sets me back in terms of movement.

It's really kind of humbling. Seated DB Presses with 20 lbs DBs or or Flat DB presses with 25s are actual worksets whereas before they woudn't even be a warmup. I am just now at a point where I can get a squat bar on my back in about the right position. The right trap is still bunching up a bit but it's better. I can hold it there for a couple of seconds and walkout but at that point the shoulder starts hurting. The best way to describe it is kind of what I think a chicken would feel like when you twist/yank a wing or drumstick off.

But there is progress. Close gripped 120 for 8 last week. When I first got back the empty bar was a challenge. Just trying to add 5-10 lbs a week.

So, give me 6 months and I'll be back to upper mediocrity!!!

LOL
