Why are you trashing Horace Lane? Horace is a nice guy who was screwed by the previous administration. What you don’t know would surprise you and cause officials to wince. Horace Lane was railroaded out of the USAPL. The specific gravity of the urine sample was not known of a healthy person. The urine in the sample cup matched a specific kind of cat or a mortally ill human.
Mike Hartle lost the paperwork again like he did with James Cash's drug test paperwork. Horace competed in the bench press nats, Horace tested negative, was chosen for the world team, then he and his wife bought plane tickets. It was not until then months later that his wife was notified and told her husband could not go to the IPF bench worlds just before she and Horace were to board a plane.
CJ Batten helped Horace to try and persuade the USAPL to do the right thing. The b sample was never tested. The USAPL administration asked for a huge b sample fee from Horace to prevent him from having it retested. He never got the written results of the first a sample! After the administration refused to give Horace the written results of the a sample, Bettina Altizer told him to go get the results himself from the lab. Bettina was telling him to go ##### himself because an individual cannot get results directly from the lab. Results have to come from the organization doing the testing!
After Horace talked to an attorney, the attorney said his case was winnable if he wanted to spend a large amount of money to contest it. The NAACP was interested in Horace's case because of the racial overtones but Horace decided not to contest it that way. Horace was told he had to pay a huge fee, around $800 for a b sample test when the white guys were charged the usual b sample fee. Alex Galant, a white guy, was charged the usual amount to test his b sample which confirmed Alex’s positive test. Horace was too laid back and took his thrashing from Mike Overdeer and his cronies.
