Non-Citizens with Green card amendment passed

Posted By: Steve Denison
Date: Thursday, 6 July 2006, at 3:22 p.m.

I submitted the proposed ammendment for the National meeting and it passed. Hooah!

Mari Asp was going to attend the USPF Senior Nationals, but since the amendment has passed she has opted to qualify to go to the Bench Nationals in North Carolina in Sept. She will lift at the USAPL Calif State meet on Aug 26 to qualify. I say good for her and anyone else with a green card. This was submitted in response to the Norwegian PL Federation denying her an opportunity to lift on their team. This will be their loss and a gain for the USA team.

Proposed By-Law Amendment
8c Submitted by Steve Denison
Allow Non-citizens with a green card being able to lift at any USAPL meet and be allowed to lift
on a National team if they qualify.
