Thank you Lainy. All injuries are different in terms of recovery and what specific exercises that you need to do during your recovery. The guidelines should begin whith your ortho guy for the first few months of your recovery. The ortho group that did my surgery had a great Rehab. department. I did weeks of Rehab. with a P.T. that lifted weights. I was fortunate enough to have Larry Maile help me with my recovery. He had me benching a broom to start with and and lots of very light weights for the rotator cuff.I did light squats on the Smith Machine because I could not raise my arm very high, graduated to the Hatfield bar, then to the regular squat bar. D.L. came back the quickest. Bench came last. I remember when I benched 308lbs. again for the first time. I jumped off the bench ,grabbed Larry and gave him a big hug. That scared him. It is very frustrating Lainy. If it hurts , back off till it stops. I still have limitations, but I have a good bench and I am grateful for that. Harriet Hall
