In Response To: Can I be blunt? (Garry Holmen)

No one knew that the suspensions were coming. We didn't know until Saturday during the meet. Our strongest team will be going to Norway. Why would you state that it isn't our strongest? Every lifter representing the US has competed at the international level. Several of us are actively recruiting elite lifters back to Nationals. Sherman Ledford is recruiting like a college football coach. Instead of saying what should be changed, or pointing out what hasn't been done, how about showing up to the NGB meeting, proposing rules changes to be presented at the meeting, work to increase membership or volunteer to head up a committee. It is easy to point fingers when one is standing on the sidelines....it just isn't productive. Anyone who wants to get invloved in any way can contact me and I will help you get your idea proposed. Complaints are great , but solutions are better. We all need to pull together and make the USAPL a stronger federation.
