In Response To: Re: Jason, how is the USAPL going to clean up (Larry "Iron" Smith)

Thank you, Larry, I appreciate that support and it did confirm to me that I was speaking in English My fault... I am majoring in Communications with a 4.0 GPA, work in that field, and I *still* forget that some folk are very, very simple-minded and just cannot read or possess an attention span beyond a 1st-grade level. And they so badly want others to think for them, so they can feel accepted and important. In reality, they are just awful representatives of the sport of powerlifting.

The last time an avid USAPL "bigwig" (who thought he had all the right friends in all the highest places and was doing such great things for the organization) slammed me on a forum for speaking up, I left USAPL for four years (that wasn't the sole reason, but it was happening in the process, as usual). When I returned, he was nowhere to be found, having brought the organization into disrepute and is now suspended indefinitely. I am not in this game alone, and God has always been good to me, correcting what is wrong and bringing justice where it is needed. As it says in Psalms, He just laughs because He knows the day is coming. An example of that is how I was able to come back this year and in what fashion... He made that possible.

Anyway, so glad there are some who can read well and are strong enough to think their own thoughts Your posts were also very clear and expressed well, and I hope you meet some of the friendly people in USAPL at these meets where you will be giving your time and efforts. I have met some very nice people here on the local level.

Have a happy Thanksgiving week!
