Doping/T:E ratio/Landis & France

To all: Given the current Tour de France / Landis doping situation, it is timely to address the “T:E ratio”. All lifters should be aware that ethanol intake POSSIBLY may alter the testosterone:epitestosterone ratio resulting in an abnormal test. This is not absolute as there are only 2 small studies in the literature. This likely does not cover those who test at 26:1 of course, but may explain a very borderline failure (5:1 or so). Be careful and train safe!
