That's funny because Hitler and the Nazi's were HUGE admirer's of Sparta and Spartan society. In fact, the philosophical origins and foundations of fascism pretty much originate from the laws of Lycurgus.

Also, the great Alexander was responsible for the deaths of more Greeks than all the tyrants of Persia combined.

It's also funny how the country that invented Democracy was also the last western European nation to install a democratic government.
