Sub-jr/Jr Worlds-Summary *LINK*

The following was posted at the message board of MarylandPowerlifting.com:

Congratulations to the following winners:

Sub-Jr Women:

Stephanie Seebruck 44 kg
Kendra Miller 48 kg
Desiree Marin 67.5 kg
Ashley Kueffer 90 kg
Lana Allen 90+ kg

Kendra finished 2nd behind Rhaea Fowler (Canada) for Champion of Champions

Jr Women:

Alyssa Hitchthingy 67.5 kg

Alyssa finished third behind Elonora Makhpirova (Kazakstan) and Hildeborg Hugdal (Norway) for Champion of Champions.

Sub-Jr Men:

Nelson Boutte, Jr 60 kg

Nelson finished 2nd behind Andre Prokopenko (Kazakstan) for Champion of Champions

Jr Men:

Mike Haffenbrack 60 kg

Michael Tuscherer 125 kg

Michael Tuscherer finished 2nd to Jewgenij Konraschow (Germany) for Champion of Champions

USA sub-jr women finished 25 points ahead of second place Japan and Poland finished a close third.

Japan's jr women finished first with USA 6 points behind and Poland a distant 3rd.

USA sub-jr men finished first with Bulgaria 8 points behind in second place and Estonia third.

The Polish jr men finished first with the USA men 6 points behind in second and Bulgaria 8 points behind the USA in third.

It is hoped that the experience was a great one and we look forward to seeing these great lifters compete again in the future!
