I have been looking at some old photos from 1971 and am amazed at how far he had to push that bar to lockout on relatively long arms.

I think that Kazmaier would have surpassed his 675 American Record had it not been for the 1981 WSM accident to his pectoral but one can only imagine the outcome of a straight fight between the two, maybe with Hedlund and Henderson thrown in for good measure.

Its all conjectural but the more I read about these guys the more I want that 400lbs raw bench in an official comp!
