Refs. Welcome to our nightmare.

In Response To: Another Bench Press rule change? (Ryan Edwards)

I have always liked the idea of bringing the press call back. It eliminates one thing the referees must watch during the lift.

But this 90-degree rule is going to cause more problems than it solves. There will be refs who ignore the rule and those who call it too often. Get ready for national meets to start becoming a real circus during the bench press.
