Lifter Friendly?

This goes back to my original question. I guess I understand the rules. However, when the rules that are in place make little sense, and are in fact a deterrent to the lifter, shouldn't they be changed? A meet two months apart. Same judges. Same venue. Same guy running the meet. Both National meets. I cannot set military national records at a Master's national meet. This is lifter friendly? With the rising cost of travel, us non-sponsored lifters have to pick and choose what meets to go to. The rules are wrong, as it pertains to this.
