I argue that the score sheet shows three different meets. There is the USPF Nationals, the bench meet and the deadlift meet. The fact that the score of all three appear in the same link does not mean that it is the same score sheet. The IPF has run meets inside of other meets (Pan Am Championships at the IPF Worlds in Miami)and the thought is that the IPF leadership did not want this to happen. In Miami there were not two seperate meets. One was run within the other. Lifters competed dirrectly against each other. Such was not the case in WV. The meets were seperate with seperate flights. Lifts from one meet did not count towards the other event. Matt McCase did an outstanding job of contacting the IPF and then constructing the meet to fit their demands. He effectively isolated Brian from the USPF Nationals.
