In Response To: Re: Siders is not going to Norway (Regina Hackney)

(we have an elite lifter who ask to break the rules)

Sider's coach didn't ask if they could break the rules. That's why his coach argued the interpretation with the IPF President. The man already has enough problems now without us misrepresenting what really happened. Siders didn't think he was breaking the rules BECAUSE THE IPF PRESIDENT TOLD HIM HE WASN'T BREAKING THE RULES.

(and was apparently given permission to break the rule by someone who may not have had the authority to do so.)

The IPF PRESIDENT didn't give permission to break the rules. The IPF PRESIDENT wrote that HE WASN'T BREAKING THE RULES. If the lifter can't go to the PRESIDENT of the IPF there's something very wrong.

(Then someone else caught this and said no he should not have gotten the ok to lift where the rules say he shouldn't. )

If they were going to make a setup to suspend Siders that would be the way to do it. The PRESIDENT tell him it's ALRIGHT TO LIFT then after he lifts someone else say YOU BROKE THE RULES NOW YOU'RE SUSPENDED IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT TOO BAD. Whether it was a setup or bad organization it's wrong.

(And now you are saying the federation should be about the 3900 members not the elite. So what is the problem here? Seems to me that the IPF is saying the elite do not get special treatment. isn't that what we all want to be treated equally? )

The IPF (and our USAPL LEADERSHIP???) are saying the elite DO GET SPECIAL TREATMENT. SPECIAL SELECTIVE MISCOMMUNICATED INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES. CONTRADICTORY COMMUNICATIONS WHENN IT'S TOO LATE. A MOUSE TRAP FOR SELECTED OF THE ELITE. WHICH ELITE?
