Steve:
I will pass on your greeting to Andy Scardino - he is not computer-, or internet, savvy and wouldn't know how to access or follow an on-line forum. "John Luthy" is a name that rings no bells. However Drew Wolfe and Larry Dexter Ditmars (from Salmon) have been helping with our meets as National Referees - Larry lives in Elko, Nevada and Drew now lives in Blackfoot.
Matt Separis use to run the weight rooms in Fitness Inc. and I used to training with him (more body-building stuff than powerlifting) before I began powerlifting. But he had a falling out with the gym owner and left and started his own "Hardbodies" gym in Blackfoot. Because our gym owner is friendly to powerlifting Matt has grown hostile to powerlifting and will not support our meets and even does not allow us to post meet notices in his own gym. Matt lately has devoted a lot of time and money to developing a portable-gym - some sort of spring and elastic contraption that you can supposedly set up anywhere and use in place of a real gym with weights - a "Pocket Bow-Flex" if you like. He hardly shows his face any more.
Andy Scardino has not been competing for the last three years or so because he needs stents inserted as a follow-up to his heart surgery - he trains at Fitness and I do see him from time to time. And I will give him your regards.
Sean
