Al Siegel's health

Posted By: Bill Schmidt

Just got an email from Jay Siegel about his dad's health. Some of you know Al had knee surgery that had complications (staph infection). Earlier this year, he had heart valve surgery. In between then and now, he lifted and set several ADAU Master National Records. He has had a year of big ups and downs. Following is a portion of a message fron Jay Siegel we received this evening (Oct. 26th):

*********************************

Guys,
Dad had a turn for the worse with his staph infection
apparently it got to his heart valve (despite all the precautions)

He's having open heart surgery (again) to take out the infected valve and put in another.
Surgery is scheduled for 7:00 AM Friday the 27th.

*********************************

Let's keep Big Al, and his family in our prayers.
