William McFadyen was christened "Wild Willie" by a young gentleman fron Southern Indiana called Kevin Hutchinson.

Willie is a Scottish Powerlifter now spe#####ing in bench contests.

He has completed a press of 402lbs at 187lbs and 70 years of age in September 2004, only to be turned down 2 to 1 at the European Masters in Luxembourg.

A sore shoulder has recently been plaguing him.

He is a full vegetarian and idolises Pat Dennis and Bill Phillips.

Willies least favourite joke is "What do you call a sheep that has been tied to a fire hydrant in Stranraer?"
