I agree that was the intent but they should have put that in the written rules in my opinion. Maura S. was right when she posted on the other forum that the old rule was fine if they just enforced it. Many of the extreme archers did not have their buttocks on their bench, just upper hamstrings. Nevertheless, they got whites. Classic example is the pic in Steve Mann's podcast.

My concern is that the rule could be enforced really subjectively.
