2007 USAPL Battle on the Border *LINK*

March 24, 2007, the First Annual USAPL Battle on the Border will be taking place in Charlotte, NC. The States of North and South Carolina are challenging all neighboring states to bring a team to see which state has the best powerlifters. There will be a Battle on the Border plaque awarded to the winning state and hopefully this will create a long time tradition.

As of right now, we plan on having two heavyweight and two lightweight lifters place with one heavyweight and one lightweight bench presser from each state. The open wilks formula will be used for each lifter and the state totaling the highest will be the winner. A state can bring as many lifters it chooses and the best totals in each weight category will score for the state.

Powerlifting is rising in our region of the country. Show your state pride and compete in the Battle on the Border! You can go to www.carolinastrength.org for more information.
