You are mistaken. I emailed JOHNNY GRAHAM who forwarded my question to, GINA STEPLETON answering this question. Here is her response.

"Yes, if a bench in a 3-lift meet is better than the single bench record, credit will be given if the appropriate do#####entation is submitted.

The same applies if the raw record is better than the equipped record or an open record. Appropriate do#####entation must be submitted."

Those were her exact words cut-n-pasted from the email she sent me. (Except that certain letters from one word show up as # instead of the actual letter on this forum!)

Obviously this is a new subject that most lifters do not know about. That is why I posted the OFFICIAL response to my question -- so that everybody can know this.
