LOL. This wasn't too bad. I was using my brad nailer and not my framing nailer! That would have been bad.
As for other funny stories. I used to work at an auto shop in high school and college. I heard of a guy that did something wild.
Normally, guys will check some things in the engine compartment, then put the car in the air and then finish up on the ground.
Often to save time, a guy will get the car part way down and put the oil can in so that by the time the car is down all 5 quarts are in.
Often when you are going to put the car all the way down, a guy would wedge a wheel weight behind the air release lever so that the car will drop all the way down without you having to stand there holding the lever. Most if the time you can go wash your hands or whatever and the car would be down when you got back.
This guy got it wrong. He stuck the weight in the lever and started the car down. When the car got haqlfway down he stuck the oil can in.....
Then he stood there and held it.
Yes, he let the car down... ON HIS FEET. He used the alignment rack with the full solid frame. My buddy told me he was watching from across the shop and was thinking. No.. .he's not going to..... he can't ... and then the guys eyes got all big and he started jumping....only he wasn't really jumping because his feet were literally stuck to the floor. Sad and hilarious at the same time as I was told.
