What kind of problems do these newer shirts pose when trying to get the bar to the CHEST w/o lifting one's head. Is it best to wear these newer shirts a size larger (than recommended)to accommodate these potential problems. What about these loose back shirts I have heard about? Are they even legal?

First the stretchy back shirts are legal. Open back, partially open back, with Velcro are not legal. If you are use to the old style INZER shirts, you won't have any problem with the groove on the INZER Rage or Rage X shirts. If you order the correct size, you should not have much of a problem breaking in the new shirt but if you go down a size this is where you will have problems getting the bar to the chest without raising your shoulders or head. Don't know if this will help as I am not a big bencher.
