Steve Howard Appreciation

Steve Howard is stepping down from his post as SD State Chair. If anyone has any stories about Steve or would just like to say thank you for all he's done, please do so.

My story is this: I entered my first meet in SD. I bombed out on squats. (depth) Steve came up to me to tell me not to leave. I felt that maybe he was impressed by me. Most of you can probably figure out by now that I was selected for drug testing. Well I learned how to squat and I fell in love with the sport despite bombing out that day. Thank you Steve for providing many in SD the opportunity to compete in the sport.
