Ray Benemerito
Tony Harris
Bull Stewart
Brad Gillingham
Wade Hooper
Brian Siders
Priscilla Ribic
Mark HenryJohnny Graham and not just because I'm scared of him.
Beck - he's young but he broke Tony's 220 American Record in his first Nationals and Tony was unbeatable at 220
Scott Zwaanstra - while he never won Nationals, he also never placed lower than 3rd that I recall and I don't recall him missing more than 1 lift per meet. That guy was Mr Consistency and added a few lbs to each lift every year. Ugliest Sumo ever but damned if he didn't pull them up!
Now for some California Love:
Mike Hara - lb for lb one of the best benchers in the world.
Nick Best - first guy in California to Total 2000 in ADFPA/USAPL
Scott Waits - at least a California Hall of Famer.
I "almost" beat Scott once but didn't and a guy came up and congratulated me because nobody had gotten that close to him at 198 or 220 in 10 years.(Well, until Charr moved to California but by then Scott was a 242)
