Response to Joe Marksteiner:

Joe -

I greatly appreciate your opinion, input and comment. Let me make a few notations re: the video.

1. The first warm up set at 405 pounds clearly shows that the Squat Precision device is in fact producing a loud BEEP at a mere fraction below parallel. Also note the angle of the camera - I'm standing, well above the knee / hip joint pointing the camera down.

2. Set # 2 ( at 445 ) and set # 3 at 495 are taken with the camera angle pointing down to the hip and knee joint. Although the angle is not crystal clear from a top / side view, it is very evident that each rep is receiving a BEEP. The engineering of the Squat Precision mechanisim based on pure physics, simply does not allow the electrical device to make a connection and BEEP, unless the top of the thigh /leg breaks parallel. The device is unforgiving at parallel - silent.

3. The last set at 515 x 3 , Ken asked me to give him a spot, so I hastily set the camera on record, but didnt notice that the camera itself was well BELOW the parallel view of the knee and hip joint. This device is so dead on to detecting a fraction below parallel, that yes, you would have to be atleast dead eye level or above to clearly see that the squat was in fact under parallel.

Summary: Side judges will never have their head and eyes BELOW a lifter's knee and joint area. That would put them sitting on the floor. Rather, they will be sitting in a chair with their eyes well above a lifter's knee and joint angle. This simple adjustment, meaning a side judges' eyes are either level or above the knee / joint would clearly show that in fact the lifts were a fraction below parallel. I would hope someday that the major federations would allow a lifter the option to wear this device in a meet - so they can in fact detect a mere fraction below parallel. The head judge and side judges will always have the last say on depth, but I truly believe if this device were incorporated, it would clearly help the lifter, judges and everyone know the true, slightest fraction below parallel.

Please see if your workout partners or GYM Owner would be interested on obtaining just one of the devices - as I am sure if your partners trained with this, they would soon agree it's an amazing device that is consistant to alerting them to when they achieved a mere fraction below parallel. The product has a 100% 30 day guarantee, in that if a purchaser is not 100% satisfied, it can be returned for a full product price refund. With this kind of guarantee, if you do not atleast try the Squat Precision Device , the only thing you stand to lose is valuable pounds off your highest lb. legal depth, one rep. max. single. Powerlifting USA and world - give this a try. Mark at www.youtube.com/benching341
