Re: Okay the California Question

Okay we all know that weird stuff happens in California (My last visit 2 weeks ago I saw a 12' step ladder wedged in a car's wheel well as he was going 60 mph on the 101).
"So how do all of the California federations get along so well? I see the USPF, USAPL, AAU, APC, APF, etc all put on meets and be supported by members in the other federations."
Ahhh Obi-wan Canuky,
Most of the meet directors are also lifters - and for us it's about the lifters, not so much the federation. We all have our favorite federations but we also just want to see the sport. We also know what a pain in the ass it can be to put a meet on so we are willing to help each other out when we can.
There is a lot of crossover here because there are a lot of feds and most guys just want a well run meet close to home. There is also a lot of crossover in meet equipment. You might see my laptop or squat racks or Koufos' lights anywhere. You might see Denisons "trailer O' power" anywhere in the State. Between Lance and Denison there are Combo/ER racks all over the state.
"Just curious how a state with so much wrongness about it can get something right the eludes the rest of the powerlifting world. LOL"
Garry... the real answer is simple. Everyone LOVES ME. USAPL, USPF, APF,APC, AAU, APA... eveyone just wants to spend a Saturday with Jason.
Can you blame them?
Garry
