Masters' Nationals

There was some great lifting this past weekend at the Nationals. Those old geezers know how to lift. There were so many good lifters that I can mention them all and some I don't know their names. The refereeing was much better than last year and it will get better as we go along. Who is certified and who gets put in the chairs should not have any hint of politics or good old boy or girl system. I did see a few wrong calls but that happens but I think for the most part, the refereeing was fair.

And let's hope Deron Rogers has no serious injury. He pulled or tore a hamstring on a 782# attempt. And he would have gotten it, if the hammie had not cause a problem. He was strong in the dead but can't say that about his squats.

Thanks, geezers for a great weekend of lifting.

Regina
