I would hate for your typing to excede your wit. So I will read this slowly too. LOL

I think you're estimate is low if you ask me.

Like any powerlifter would pass up beer money! We spend $1200 just for a chance at a $20 medal.

I was more thinking $5,000.

With your economy going in the tank that difference is negligble these days. In a couple months you may wish to have CDN $$$ rather then USD.

Regardless... if I did this to invite USAPL lifters I would put the prize money in USD. I would hate people like Deep to have to do the math.

This was one of my concerns about only offering one prize. It would foster this all or nothing approach which has hurt the WPO and other events.

Take $5000 and split it 3 ways. $3000 for 1st by formula, $1500 for 2nd, $500 for 3rd.

Fat kids can lose weight if they feel that strongly about it. I really am not pro-Wilks. I think you could provide a similar formula that evens everyone out across the board. You could even do the same with women. It's just a matter of documenting it well in advance of the meet so people know what they have to do.
