Jesse -
I greatly appreciate your input, and I sincerely have a " deep respect " ( no pun intended for the Squatters in both IPF and USAPL ! From legends of years gone by ( Mike Bridges who is still lifting GREAT ) to those in their prime ( Wade Hooper ), I have great respect for these deep squatters. I also am awestruck by Sam Byrd's 1050 at 198 pound bodyweight. But look at the difference in depth requirements in Sam Byrd's 1050 squat and USAPL ! My thought for what its worth ? If the legal depth of the Federation is acceptable to the lifter, and the sanctioned meets are consistant from North to South, East to West - more power to the Federation.

All I am trying to do is bring to light to every lifter - regardless of their Federation, is that if they will take this device to their next meet and before the meet, in front of the judges squat down to their view of legal depth, slide the device from your knee up the thigh until it BEEPS, then cinch it - then the lifter can take the device into the warm up room, and make very sure their warm ups are perfectly in line with what the judges have stated before the meet. I will not mention the Federation, but I was invloved in a meet two weeks ago that during the rules clinic - the Meet's spokesman stated and I quote " The judges will be looking for lifters to break parallel". Then, the lifters stepped onto the platform, and the judges who were not present in the rules clinic were judging IPF depth ! I thought the lifting platform was going to turn RED. The point I'm trying to make, is Squat Depth is a crucial factor in obtaining your highest pound, maximum one rep legal depth lift. I really feel if every meet the lifters had an opportunity to approach judges and follow the procedure I have described, they would have a better opportunity to get more lifts approved. The side and front judges are always going to have the last say in good lift or too high. Ultimately, if federations would allow a lifter to wear this, and they checked with the judges before the meet, I truly believe this would help the lifters. The device is not like a squat suit or knee wraps - its never going to give more support to a lifter. It simply going to let the lifter focus on obtaing his one rep max. at legal depth ! It would totally be up to the lifter to make sure the device has been positioned exactly where the BEEP occured when the judges screened before the meet. I believe the lifter would make darn sure the device is where the judges called the legal depth - to ensure when he hit that depth, and the device beeped , he / she could ascend with confidence. I sincerely believe, if used in this manner, it would be a major breakthrough to help lifters hit the exact depth the judges are looking for.

Squat Precision will detect a fraction below USAPL or IPF legal depth. I'm so convinced that if an experienced USAPL lifter will step up to this challenge, buy a Squat Precision device, and then send me a video of " perfect USAPL depth " I will then use the video on www.squatprecision.com The person will have to be using the Squat Precision device, and you the person will need to do a minimum of 4 sets of 3 reps. Two front views ( head on ), and two side views ( which I have received the most comments on ). Once the video is sent to me, I will load it on www.squatprecision.com When I get 3 responses saying " Yes, that is USAPL depth ",from this forum , I will then refund your entire cost of the device plus shipping ! This offer is limited to the first person that orders. I will post when I have the taker in this challenge. I have no doubt whatsoever that Squat Precision will detect USAPL's or IPF depth once moved an inch or two down the thigh ( 2" lower than the IPF legal depth video at www.youtube.com/341
Thanks again Jesse for your comments and suggestions.
