Men's Nationals

WOW!!!... That is all I can say about this weekend. I think this was one of the most exciting National championships that I have ever been apart of. Congratulations Harold Gaines for putting on a great Championship’s!

Congratulations to all the winner’s and to all the new competitor’s this year. Congrats to Travis Godawa, and Nick Guiterez of LSU. Lifting in your first Nationals is never easy and you guys did it with class and lifted great. Steve Lemarie and Travis Werner, both from Louisiana, lifted well this past weekend too.

As far as my lifting, other than my rookie mistake of leaving my competition squat suit at home, I had a pretty good day. I had very close misses on my last bench and deadlift, either of which would have given me a PR total, so no complaints. Time now for me get ready for Austria.

I would like to thanks Sherman Ledford at Quest for his tireless efforts to the lifter’s. It doesn’t matter if you lift for Team Quest, he will help out any lifter that needs it. Also, to John Inzer and Inzer Advance Designs for all the best equipment. I would especially like to thank Darrin Cressione, Daniel Credeur and the crew at Fletcher’s House of Power… None of my lifting would be possible without there constant help and encouragement.

Again Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend.
