In Response To: Regina (Harriet Hall)

I don't know Regina, and I am not familiar with USAPL politics (particularly its history) or issues people have with Regina specifically. I would certainly hope that, given this information, people can join together and pray for the full and speedy recovery of Regina's son, and for Regina's and Regina's family's welfare through this difficult ordeal.

Past that, people should ask themselves why it was really necessary to wantonly attack this woman via various forums as has recently been occurring (though not on this one). She has served this sport and the USAPL for years. Maybe her judging was strict; does that make her evil? Whatever happened with the Technical Committee, maybe rules were followed, maybe they weren't, again, nothing about that required or justified personal attacks against her.

I think that posters should remember that even thought they are typing into their screen, sometimes behind anonymity, sometimes not, we are still dealing with real people here, with real lives. Beyond praying for the Hackney family and Regina's son, people should direct their ferocity into their workouts rather than forum postings. At the end of the day, we are powerlifters, right?
