They can go hand in hand but they do not neccessarily do. Did anyone have an equipment issue when Captian Kirk squatted over 1000?

Agreed. I was more extrapolating here. If everyone thinks that the current level of equipment is out of hand then I suspect the next generation (already in the queue) will be viewed in the same way. The only way to bring the equipment back to an acceptable level would be to roll it back or eliminate it.

Start running the computer Deep. That way you can duck out on the gear check. LOL I actually think that's the worst job to do as a referee. Especially at the local level... "What do you mean I need a singlet?"
