Cheryl,

This system was built and designed by me. Yes Brad is involved in the project. But it was my idea to "redesign the wheel". If there is any criticism of this project's design it should be directed at me not Brad. In addition I would appreciate it if you didn't attach any issues you have with Brad to this project.

I think we disagree on what the "basics" are. Nor does it seem like you understand what a project like this entails.

You said "I still think that managing the meet results and data had to have come first" and that is exactly the first thing we are working on. Getting the data into a database is what is required to do that.

Rich was able to compile the rankings for one division over the course of a few days, with a few days extra for corrections. How long do you think it would take someone to finish the other 133 divisions in that manner? I appreciated Rich's work in getting some form of rankings for the most popular division, but it simple is not time efficient to go about the whole process that way.

While I am not being paid for this work, I am a professional. I have a degree in this field and work as a software engineer designing database driven web applications just like this. If you really feel strongly that this should be a paid position perhaps you can talk someone at the EC into cutting me a check.
