My Masters thoughts....

Posted By: Kevin D.Stewart
Date: Tuesday, 9 October 2007, at 10:16 a.m.

I want to first thank my sponsors INZER for making sure I have the hands down
Best gear on the market.Thank you to Sam and family from Serenity point counseling
for their more than generous contribution in getting me their to compete.

Thanks to my training partners Fat Tony,Mike/Todd,Trav, and Paris without you guys help, I would not have been able to get the training done.

Thank you Ronda for putting up with me during this cycle,it's been a rough one. The motor cycle accident 4 weeks before the meet and all the rest of the little nagging injuries
that no one hears about but you. I love you!

Thanks to Amanda (my 7 year old for being at the gym everyday with me.)Love ya.
Thanks to Dean, for getting me where I am today, you know what I mean.

Thank you Johnny,Lynnette, and Gina for your hard work at the worlds.
I know you were looking out for me at the worlds with what happened in the warm up room, but Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue and at least try.
Not bad for a guy basically on one leg.

Thanks to Doc Carlson and Rita for their help I'll keep you posted after the MRI for the knee and the wrist!

The folks in the warm up room on our team who saved me from totally crashing to the floor and catered to me until I was done,I truly thank you!

My Handlers ,Greg Jones thanks for the advice and the help!
Donna, I owe you Big time! We've been team mates for years and ever time I need help, The Phantom Corps team is always there. It's nice having friends there to help, but it's even better with family there!

The Masters Team is an outstanding lifting family. I seen one team one,on one mission and they accomplished it without a hitch.
I watched experienced lifters struggle, and willingly take advice to help them make it through and win.
I watched new lifters settle in and do what they did to get them there and performed well on the big stage.
The look on lifters faces after minor adjustments made major improvements.
The team cheering for each other day and night sessions.
That's what's it s all about winning, doing your best and having fun.

Highlight of the meet for me:
Watching Kate Dingle-Craig and Will come off the platform after their bench presses. There's more there!
If I failed to mention anyone, Thank you!
Thank you Team USA for a Great time!
