"Hey Deep! I got married last month"
Congrats! Welcome to the club! Send me an email and I'll explain the point system. Aw forget it, I'll give it to you now:
You know how you do something you know she'll like and you figure that should score you a couple of points?
OK...listen up....You're a husband now. There are NO points.
This is confusing because you can still LOSE points. I guess it's more accurate to say that there are no positive points.
Oh... and you were wrong. Nope. Nope..Don't say, "wrong about what?" It doesn't matter. Just figure that out and you'll be ok.
Also, you can't win an argument with your wife. Ever. Even if you are 100% right and you logically *should* win - in fact if you were arguing with anyone else you WOULD win - but you can't because:
1) "oh, Nectar ,is that what it's about? Winning?"
Try and answer that. and
2) Even if you do win, you still lose.
To quote Spock (Mr. not Dr.),"I know it is not logical -- but it is frequently so.""
" so I'm just getting back to the normal routine...or at least as normal as I can make it (LOL!). "
I understand completely. If you want to get back to normal even faster.. have a couple kids. That will make life much smoother.
And just in case you do go down the baby trail - REMEMBER the YOU ARE WRONG law. It might save you when the hormones kick in.
I'll never forget. When I went to work and told my buddies that Cheryl was pregnant, one of my buddies replied, "you're wrong."
I said, "No, we went to the doctor and everything."
He said, "You don't get it, you're wrong."
I said, 'what....."
He said, "Just listen to me. You're wrong and you're going to be wrong for the next 9 months. If you get only that one point, you can make it through this ok."
That was some of the best advice anyone ever gave me. About month 3 when the morning sickness and hormones start going wild...... ah..nevermind... I'm sure you'll be ok. LOL
"I was wrong. You're right honey," might just save your life..
"Great job on the new forum. "
