WADA - WADA

Very interesting reading the reports that the executive officers gave to the IPF congress. In the doping report there is a clear push by the IPF to upgrade all testing in IPF affiliates to WADA level tests (laboratories, etc).

How will this effect USAPL drug testing policies? Should the USAPL upgrade it's drug tests to all WADA level? Or are the lower cost Quest tests sufficient for the typical day to day meet/operational needs of the organization?

And how does Russia perform 290 tests, with a roughly 50% OMT ratio and only catch 9 people? The USAPL which advocates drug free lifting and has never had an anabolics positive test at a World level meet is at a higher positive rate then that.. with less OMT! The Russian team gets caught every year.

Sorry... just stirring the proverbial pot. LOL
